IF YOU WANT TO:
Beginning your lecture with a series of questions.
A zoology professor does this at the beginning of the week. He opens class with a question like, "What is bothering you about the material we have discussed so far?" or "Is there anything from last week that you would like to go over again?"
He then takes a series of questions, making notes on the board without responding. Sometimes he pulls the questions together and gives a mini lecture or review (like a composer taking a few notes from the audience and them composing a concerto). Other times he addresses each question sequentially.
