From the author: My project was related to my advanced writing workshop in Italian. In Spring 2024, I focused the course on the environment, climate change, and environmental activism in Italy. My project’s goal was connecting students with Italian ecological groups/associations and make them interview their Italian peers who were active in such organizations.
The project’s goals were all achieved: students learned a new aspect of Italian culture and compared it to how the same aspect is perceived in their own culture; they perfected their oral skills by conducting interviews in Italian; they shared their results in writing.
